Comments left by {{{2}}}: {{{3}}}</includeonly> This template is used to remind yourself (and make a note for others) that you reviewed data quality issues reported for a Person or Family page but did not resolve them, and why. This could be for a number of reasons, such as:
When to useThe primary benefit of this template is when you are reviewing and resolving data quality issues from the Data Quality Issues list, and wish to keep track of issues you already looked at but couldn't or chose not to resolve. The only way to get an issue off the list is to fix the data or mark it as verified. When neither is applicable, this template reminds you that you deferred resolving the issue earlier and may wish to ignore it until you have time to tackle the research required. You can also use this template when you see "Questionable Information identified by WeRelate automation" displayed on a Person or Family page. The warning will still be displayed after addition of the template, but you can quickly check the Talk page to see if you deferred resolution sometime in the past and why. The benefit for WeRelate is that it reduces the temptation to mark an issue as verified (just to get it off the Data Quality Issues list), when sources haven't been added to prove that the data is correct, and the data might, in fact, be wrong. How to enterThe easiest way to add this template is from the Data Quality Issues list. (See Help:Monitoring Data Quality: Filtering the list for how to display and filter this list.) Selecting the Defer button will prompt you for comments. Enter your comments and select OK, and the template, with your user id and comments, will be added to the Person or Family talk page. Alternately, you can add the template manually, by entering {{DeferredIssues|date|username|comments|issue}}, where
